Managing Travel Itineraries in Cadence

For event attendees to enjoy a seamless travel experience, precise travel itinerary management is essential. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to manually add and update travel itineraries within Cadence.

Adding a New Travel Itinerary

  • Within an attendee's travel plan, click the ‘+’ sign to add a new travel itinerary.

  • You will be presented with a new page where you first need to select the type of travel itinerary—choose from ‘Flight,’ ‘Ground Transportation,’ or ‘Hotel.’

  • Depending on the selection, relevant fields will appear for you to fill in, such as flight numbers for flights, pick-up and drop-off locations for ground transportation, or hotel names and check-in details for hotels.

Editing an Itinerary

  • To modify existing details, find the itinerary you wish to change and click on the 'Edit' button.

  • Update any necessary fields, whether it’s a change in travel times, a new reservation number, or different accommodation details.

Deleting an Itinerary

  • If an itinerary item is no longer needed, select the 'Delete' button next to it.

  • Confirm your action in the pop-up window to remove the itinerary from the attendee’s travel plan.

Keep your itineraries organized by categorizing each item and clearly listing the details, such as departure times, flight numbers, and hotel check-in instructions.
