An overview of this week's web and admin updates

Please find below a list of our latest updates that are now LIVE!

Account Management

πŸ’š Made images at the account level available for edits to all admins of the company account.

πŸ’š Added a permissions section at the account level and created permission settings for enabling (1) following of collections and (2) the ability for users to add collection content to collections.


πŸ’š Implemented the ability to edit the header and the button copy on admin per company for the Appointments and Chat sections if they are enabled. This helps to further customize companies messaging to attendees.

πŸ’š Updated the appointment request email that is sent to company requests when invite sending is disabled, to include some further details about the requestor such as their company and title.

πŸ’š Improved font size and output of company representatives' names and titles so they are more legible.

🐞 Fixed an alignment issue that shifted the Share and Options buttons to the left on a Company page when the overall Company menu was disabled and only a custom menu for Companies was used.


πŸ’š Updated logic that would ensure a user returns to the last viewed page before navigating to the Schedule details page when they are not viewing from the Schedule list view.

πŸ’š Added display of custom fields added to Schedule item forms to display on the schedule item details pages.

🐞Fixed an issue when editing the schedule item on the web to have a custom start or end time, it would save with an incorrect date span for the schedule item.


πŸ’š Restored the onboarding prompt for users logging into Cadence web for the very first time, asking them to fill out their profile details and upload a profile pic.

🐞 Fixed the notification prompt to not show if already enabled when a user goes through their respective event onboarding pop-up.


πŸ’š Implemented the ability to export the speaker's list for an event via the admin.


πŸ’š Implemented ability to add system automated tiles for the upcoming or happening next schedule items as well as to start posting to the Live Feed or seeing the latest posts by others.

πŸ’š Introduced an admin configuration for Home to enable a scroll bar for Home on Web.

πŸ’š Added a separate tile type option for menu tiles they previously lived within the content tile types.

πŸ’š Introduced additional linking options for Content tiles such as for speakers and collections.

πŸ’š Implemented the ability to add custom menu items as menu tiles via the admin.

🐞 Addressed a gradient issue that made home tiles using an image with a transparent background appear much darker and less vibrant.

🐞 Fixed an error message on admin when trying to save a video tile.


πŸ’š Made some needed updates to our newly released attendee public and private toggle for attendees, ensuring copy matches and it's styled correctly.

πŸ’š Added the ability for users to update their password within their profile when in edit mode. Any accounts with SSO enabled will not see a password update option.

🐞 Fixed a custom color theme issue that wouldn't apply to any custom fields added to user profiles when in edit mode.


πŸ’š Updated the Materials reports Export to also allow export of all materials with user usage information in one consolidated report.


🐞 Fixed an alignment issue on our Materials list view for the 'Used In' display.


🐞 Fixed issue with setting up a custom menu item for a Company that would not allow selecting from the drop-down.


🐞 Fixed a very cryptic error message received during a user or attendee import in admin due to Job Roles not being created as entries first at the account level.

🐞 Update the verbiage when removing multiple attendees from an event to not mistakenly say we added them when indeed they were removed.
