An overview of how participants may engage within a Symphony meeting

VIEWING THE PRESENTATION (CONTENT & VIDEO)

Symphony has many engagement options for each participant. Depending on the format of a Symphony session, you may have the ability to view the content timeline, ask a question, notes, and presentation controls, such as audio/video controls and video view options.

CONTROLLING AUDIO & VIDEO

For the Speakers and the Participants, when applicable, you will have the option to rollover the presentation/video area and select

Mic

This is the ability to turn on/off your audio.

Video

This is the ability to turn on/off your video

Screen (When Applicable)

This is the ability to share you screen.

Timer (When Applicable)

This is the ability to set a 3 second countdown to draw the audiences attention to the fact you are about to speak, and it will be intellectual and insightful.

View all speakers/participants in a Gallery View

Presenter

View only the speaker


Full Screen

View all videos, whether just speaker or gallery in full screen mode

VIEWING PRESENTATION TIMELINE

For speakers/moderators, Presentation will display all presentation content.

For participants, Presentation will only display the content that has been presented to date.

ASKING QUESTIONS

When Ask a Question is enabled by the Host, you will be able to ask questions for the session. You may also heart the questions that resonate the most with you.

For Hosts, you will have the ability to rollover any asked question to determine whether you want to present to participants.

Once presented, the question will display full screen for all participants.

TAKING NOTES

When enabled by the Host, you will have the ability as a participant to take Notes on the presentation. These notes will live within your Profile in Cadence.
