ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT - COLLECTIONS

When using Cadence for your events, you will have an overall account, which is where you can manage your overall list of materials, attendees, speakers, groups, customers, materials and collections.

You may enable a menu item called Collections at the event level, which will display all Collections that exist at your account level.

EVENT - COLLECTIONS

If you enable Collections at the event level, the menu item will display all Collections within your event.

PRO TIP

You may use Custom Menu Items to display specific Collections, rather than all collections within your Event.

Visit your event Menu within Event Setup in the admin site, select the + button to the right of the Menu header and select Custom Menu Item.

Here you may add a single Collection to your menu, such as a collection for Recordings. Select Collection as the navigation type, enter your Menu Item Name, Custom Icon, select your specific Collection, determine who it's visible to and Save.

Or you may add multiple collections to your menu. Select Specific Collections as the navigation type, enter your Menu Item Name, select your custom icon, select your Collections, determine who its visible to, then select Save.

This is helpful for a Gala, Fundraiser, Awards Show if you want to add a few collections relating to the items available for blind bidding. Or for a medical congress where you want to add Abstracts and Posters as two Collections within the menu.

ADDING COLLECTIONS FROM WEB

On web, you will see a + button next to the Collections header:

Enter your Collection name, Description and select or upload the Collection image.

ADDING CONTENT TO A COLLECTION

Tapping the + button will bring up the New Collection screen

ADDING CONTENT TO A COLLECTION

Within a Collection, you will see the + button to add additional content or select from your account level library of content.

You will have two options presented to you. One is to create a new material where you'll be able to upload a video, audio, PDF or enter a website URL.

The second option will be able to select from your library of content from the account level.
