This article documents the various assets that are needed for deployment to the App Store and Google Play Store, including your app icon.

Prerequisites

Google Publisher Account

In order to publish your app on the Play Store, it is mandatory to create a Google Publisher Account. The registration fee is a one-time payment of $25.
Part of the information you provide upon registration will be visible in the Store later on. When an end user browses an app in the Play Store, they can get information about who is the developer.

Apple Developer account

In order to create an iOS app and publish it on the App Store, you are required to register as an Apple Developer. This account cost $99 and must be renewed yearly.

Publish Yourself or Have Cadence Manage Deployments

  • Manage Yourself - If you'd prefer to manage app deployments internally, the Cadence team will deliver the .IPA (iOS) and .APK (Android) files of your white-labeled app directly to you via a downloadable link. These files can then be imported in your Google Play and iTunes Connect accounts to be submitted to the app stores.

  • Cadence Managed - The Cadence team upload and manage your App Store/Google Play submissions. This is done by creating the application in iTunes and Google Play and working with our team to give Administrator access to your white-labeled application so our team can submit and manage the application. Note: Admin Access is only required for the Cadence app and Cadence employees do not gain access to your overall iTunes or Google Play accounts.
